Description: The location of manholes in public wastewater systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A manhole is an access chamber to an underground utility vault used to access the undergound infrastructure of a wastewater system for the purpose of making connections, conducting inspections, and performing maintenance to wastewater infrastructure. These data specifically include, but are not limited to, “small systems” or systems with a directly serviceable population of 10,000 or less as collected by the Area Development Districts under the FY2014-FY2017 Kentucky Infrastructure Authority contracts.
